About Us
Four out of ten will get cancer in their lifetime. The Facing Cancer Together conference was inspired by the cancer ministry at Cottonwood Creek Church. In 2012, two cancer survivors, Debbie Williams and Carolyn Freeman, determined to give back, helped launch this flourishing ministry. Since the inception, the ministry has provided resources, love, hope, encouragement, and comfort to over 2000 cancer patients. They have also helped over 20 churches start their own cancer care ministries!
The many volunteers who help lead this ministry are excited to provide this space for patients, caregivers, church leaders, non-profits, and the medical community to come together to learn, connect, and be inspired!
This conference emerged from the deepest desire to strengthen those battling cancer and equip those walking alongside of them.
How the Cottonwood Creek Cancer Ministry Helped Real Life Church in Florida
Thank you Cottonwood Creek for helping us as a church to support, care for and minister to those battling with cancer. The resources you provided for our Care Team was exactly what we needed to get our Cancer Support Group up and running. Because of your willingness to equip others, you’re now reaching people around Central Florida to ensure that No One Faces Cancer Alone.
